The omnipresent web...

  • The number of young Americans with access to the Internet is proportionally inferior to Tchec Republic, Canada, Macau and Great Britain, according to a research made in 13 countries all over the world. Among the youngsters that are 12 to 14 years old, 100% of the British use Internet, they are followed by Israel with 98%, Tcheck Republic and Macau with 96% and Canada with 95%, according to the Center for the Digital Future on regarding Internet in the World. In contrast only 88% of the Americans in this age have access and the proportion is lower in Singapore and Hungary, in both countries 70% of the teens in this age group have access to Internet. 100% of the British, 98% of Israeli, 96% of tchecs and Macaw population, 95% of Canadians, 88% of north Americans and 70% of Hungarians and Singapore inhabitants that have between 12 and 14 years of age... It's the digital revolution with all strength going on... With numbers like that it is possible to foresee that in 5 years most the web will become a daily part of all inhabitants of Earth. Having such expressive data on our hands it is a need to think about our relation with Internet in the present days and also about what the future is going to bring to us. Where are we going to? Why do we use the web? How are we using these technologies and how can we increase its usage? What the digitalized world will be like? Will there be space for us to be more humans and less technological?
