Planeta Educação in the Guide of Educational Technologies of MEC

I am very pleased to announce the inclusion of our website Planeta Educação [Planet Education, in English] in the Guide of Educational Technology made by MEC [Ministry of Education and Culture in Brazil] its pre-selection 2008, as disclosed in Official Gazette on December 1 of this year 2008. We had similar honor in 2007 with the our Project Coliseum made by Team Planeta Educação.

I work as editor, researcher and writer for Planeta Educação Website since 2002 with a high qualified team formed by friends Alexandre Abreu, Mauro, Ricardo, Wellington and Érika [In addition to many other employees as Elisete Baruel, Martha Gil, Andrea Prieto, Tosin Aline, Camila Leon, Camila Hayashi ...] and that has the full support of partners [Microsoft, Port-Short Petrobras, Amankay, Abrinq, CECIP, Bengal Fine, GEPI, Project Saci of USP ...].

I think it is a collective victory of great value and deserves to be celebrated, after all that advance is a real honor to win and has to be appreciated and joined by all the team. It is also important to note that this work has the support of several other professionals within the company and also the incentive of the company staff.

Our projects that have won this recognition bring to Internet subjects on knowledge areas[mathematics, English, Portuguese, history...], New Technologies [Internet, Software, New Platforms...], Varied Public [Educators, Students, Parents, Community in general, managers], New Methodologies [Lesson Plans, Movies at School...], Persons with Special Needs...

We offer content updated weekly and offer quality services and are always studying and researching alternative teaching ways and technologies applied to education that could in some way assist public and our country in the search for a quality education.
